On October 28 2024, Thailand Insurance Institute (TII) hosted “T.I.I. Grand Opening” to celebrate the official opening of the new office space at SKYY9 Centre, 4th Floor, Asok-Din Daeng Road, Bangkok.

The event began with a video presentation recounting the 36-year history of T.I.I. Company Limited, also known as the “Thailand Insurance Institute.”

Mr.Sutti Rajitrangson, the chairman of T.I.I., welcomed the guests and presented the history of the institute, as well as the current and future operational goals.

We were honored to have Mr.Chuchatr Pramoolpol, the secretary-general of the Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), expressed his congratulations and officially inaugurated the office.

After that, Ms.Uthaiwan Chumtanti, the director and president of the Institute, discussed the current curriculum and the development of new courses for the future, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially celebrate the official opening of the new office space.

The event was honored by the presence of the executives from the OIC, including Ms.Wasumdee Wasinnot, Deputy Secretary-General for Inspection; Ms.Mayurin Suthiratanapan, Special Advisor; and T.I.I. board members – Ms.Piyawadee Khovidhunkit, Ms.Bang-orn Jiravorasuk, Mr.Anon Vangvasu, Mr.Thuchapol Posayanon, as well as Mr.Suthiphon Thaveechaiyagarni, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Dhurakij Pundit University, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Moreover, we were also honored by the presence of executives from the Thai Insurance Brokers Association (TIBA), the Thai Life Assurance Association (TLAA), the Thai General Insurance Association (TGIA) , the Life and General Insurance Fund, the Thai Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (THAIFA), as well as insurance companies and partner firms, who brought congratulations flowers and participate in the ceremony, for instance, Mr.Jitwut Sasibut, President of the TIBA; Mr.Picha Siriyodhin, Executive Director of TLAA; Mr.Noppol Beokhaimook, Manager of the Life Insurance Fund; Mr.Mr. Chanaphon Mahawong, Manager of the General Insurance Fund; Ms. Prapaporn Likasith , President of the THAIFA; Mr.Apisit Anantanatarat, CEO of Bangkok Insurance Public Company Limited; Mr.Sompoch Kiattiwong, Senior Advisor to the Managing Director and Agency Department of Tokio Marine Life Insurance Public Company Limited; Mr.Kitti Piriyawirut, former board member of the Institute.
